28 year old female patient. Degenerative disc disease in the lower lumbar area.
Instability, abrasion and pain from the facet joints L4/L5 left side, and L5/S1 right side.
Slipped discs at both levels.
Pre OP MRIs sagittal, frontal and axial views
Intra OP
Combined MIS and mini-open TLIF surgery.
Wiltse approach.
Approach Wiltse for TLIF Neo Curved Cages implantation:
Neo Curved Cages: 36/12 mm, Lordosis 5° in level L4/L5, and 36/9 mm, lordosis 5° in level L5/S1.
Intra OP Radiographs, sagittal and frontal views
K-wire placement; with one incision covering all 3 vertebral levels
Placing the Neo Pedicle Screw System
4 x Ø6.0 x 40mm
2 x Ø6.0 x 35mm
Rod measuring and placement of Neo Pre-bent rods.
Pre-bent 60mm rod placed at the right side, and a pre-bent 70mm rod at the left side.
Final tightening of the posterior instrumentation
